Pakistan needs to move faster to adopt information technology in our health care system. Just smelling the need of time WE, the group of technologically aware doctors planed to transform the delivery of health care by building a new health information infrastructure and launched a first comprehensive Medical Portal of Pakistan(www.pakdoctors.info).

Information technology enabled our panel Doctors to provide individuals with round-the-clock, web-based access to medical advice, information, products, and services and any health sector related query without any cost.
In January 2002, Levant Technologies initiated www.pakdoctors.info, a welfare project with the help of few dedicated and patriotic doctors. The goals of this welfare project are:

• Provide an information base for both medical  ..community and general public.
• Provide FREE online medical advice.
• Provide financial help to poor patients.
•Improve the Health standards of Pakistani   public by providing a unique platform for different  NGOs to convey their messages.         .                                                                  The planning, design and development of   www.pakdoctors.info costs us around Rs. 600,000 (US $ 10,000). The current average operational cost is around Rs. 45,000 per month (about US $ 750). Our estimate is that the budget of www.pakdoctors.info should be at least increased to around 90,000 per month (about US $ 1,500) to speed up the process of achieving our goals.

Our slogan is “eWay to a Healthy Pakistan”. We are determined to make Pakistan a Healthy Nation. We request all Pakistanis to contribute in our efforts and become part of this revolution.
