offers accurate information in laymen's terms in

La Leche League International
- "La Leche League International, [is] an
international, nonprofit, nonsectarian
organization dedicated to providing education,
information, support, and encouragement to women
who want to breastfeed." The site contains links
to many local groups.

MEDLINEplus: Women's Health Topics - The National Library of Medicine's MEDLINEplus pages provide a
carefully selected list of resources, not a
comprehensive catalog. They are designed to direct
users to resources containing information that
will help them research their health questions.
The "Women's Health Topics" page at MEDLINEplus
refers users to separate lists on related topics
such as birth control and contraception, breast
feeding, endometriosis, hysterectomy, infertility,
labor and delivery, menopause, menstruation and
premenstrual syndrome, ovarian cysts, pregnancy,
prenatal care, rape, teenage pregnancy, uterine
diseases and vaginal diseases.

University, this site offers a categorized list
with links to hundreds of sites, as well as links

- Provides lots of links to unique alternative
medicine resources. Definitely built from a

- A highly-rated commercial "metasite", for
medical professionals and the general public. It
provides news, upcoming events, announcements,
conference coverage, reviews of disease conditions
and treatment procedures, images, CME courses,
short clinical articles, forums, and career
opportunities. OBGYN.net is "a physician reviewed
service.

- Midwifery, Pregnancy, Birth and Breastfeeding
are the topics covered in this web. It is an
excellent resource featuring solid content on each
of the subjects and a nice index of other places
to find information on pregnancy, childcare and
parenting.

- Contains a directory of clinics and lots of
links to information regarding birth control,
abortion and sexually transmitted diseases, and a
Women's Health Encyclopedia.
