§         American Medical Women’s Association - AMWA is a national medical organization of women physicians and medical students providing the unique voice for women’s health.

§         Ask NOAH About: Pregnancy - NOAH seeks to provide high quality full-text health information for consumers that is accurate, timely, relevant, and unbiased. NOAH current supports English and Spanish. NOAH is a cooperative project of the City University of New York, the Metropolitan New York Library Council, the New York Academy of Medicine and the New York Public Library. §         BioSites - "BioSites is a current listing of important Internet resources in the biomedical sciences. §         CliniWeb - CliniWeb, a project at Oregon Health Sciences University, is an index and table of contents to over 2,500 websites of clinical information. §         IVF.com - "IFV.com : Your Infertility Home on the Net" offers accurate information in laymen's terms in areas of women's health including: infertility, polycystic ovaries, IVF, endometriosis and pelvic pain treatment options.

§         JAMA Women's Health Information Center - Produced by the Journal of the American Medical Association through unrestricted educational grants from Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical. Includes top stories, in-depth special reports, the latest in women's health literature, and STD and Contraception Information Centers. Peer reviewed.

§         La Leche League International - "La Leche League International, [is] an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed." The site contains links to many local groups.

§         MEDLINEplus: Women's Health Topics - The National Library of Medicine's MEDLINEplus pages provide a carefully selected list of resources, not a comprehensive catalog. They are designed to direct users to resources containing information that will help them research their health questions. The "Women's Health Topics" page at MEDLINEplus refers users to separate lists on related topics such as birth control and contraception, breast feeding, endometriosis, hysterectomy, infertility, labor and delivery, menopause, menstruation and premenstrual syndrome, ovarian cysts, pregnancy, prenatal care, rape, teenage pregnancy, uterine diseases and vaginal diseases.

§         MEDWEB @ EMORY UNIVERSITY - A very comprehensive page maintained at Emory University, this site offers a categorized list with links to hundreds of sites, as well as links to employment opportunities, medical equipment and products, societies and associations, and much more. Select "Browse by Keyword" and then click on the specific topic desired.

§         Motherheart - Health & Wholeness - Provides lots of links to unique alternative medicine resources. Definitely built from a feminist angle.

§         OBGYN.net - A highly-rated commercial "metasite", for medical professionals and the general public. It provides news, upcoming events, announcements, conference coverage, reviews of disease conditions and treatment procedures, images, CME courses, short clinical articles, forums, and career opportunities. OBGYN.net is "a physician reviewed service.

§         Online Birth Center - Midwifery, Pregnancy, Birth and Breastfeeding are the topics covered in this web. It is an excellent resource featuring solid content on each of the subjects and a nice index of other places to find information on pregnancy, childcare and parenting.

§         Planned Parenthood - Contains a directory of clinics and lots of links to information regarding birth control, abortion and sexually transmitted diseases, and a Women's Health Encyclopedia.

§         Reproduction and Women's Health-Related Science Sites - Maintained by the Center for Research on Reproduction and Women's Health at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, this offers information about upcoming meetings, Internet and grant information, journals related to reproduction and women's health, and has links to email discussion groups, national and international governmental agencies, and much more.

§         The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists - Also known by its abbreviation, ACOG, this site offers news releases, meeting information, membership information, publications, and information about PACE, a software designed for specific women’s health issues.
