§         American Lithotripsy Society - Organized in 1987, this voluntary membership organization addresses the issues concerning management and treatment of stone diseases including aspects of lithotripsy as a treatment modality for urinary stone diseases. Includes information about membership, quality improvement programs and patient care guidelines.

§         American Prostate Society - In addition to membership information, this site offers publications and information for the lay public.

§         Ask NOAH About: Testicular Cancer - A new site which describes testicular cancer. Gives basic information plus information about care and treatment. Includes information on chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, and clinical trials. NOAH seeks to provide high quality full-text health information for consumers that is accurate, timely, relevant, and unbiased. A cooperative project of the City University of New York, the Metropolitan New York Library Council, the New York Academy of Medicine and the New York Public Library, NOAH supports English and Spanish.

§         BioSites Urology page - "BioSites is a current listing of important Internet resources in the biomedical sciences. The sites evaluated here have been selected as part of a collaborative project by staff in the Resource Libraries within the Pacific Southwest Region of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine." BioSites makes it easier to locate the best Internet resources on a given topic. The link here is to BioSite's Urology page, which is still under construction.

§         CliniWeb Urogenital System page - CliniWeb, a project at Oregon Health Sciences University, is an index and table of contents to over 2,500 Web sites of clinical information. Keyword search or browse through the MeSH hierarchy. CliniWeb is well researched and current. §         healthfinder™ - Maintains a robust list of consumer health information web sites, selected online publications, databases, self-help groups, as well as the government agencies and non-profit organizations. Search for the specific topic in the A-Z topics list or type keywords in the search dialog box.

§         Infertility Resources - This site "provide[s] information about IVF [in vitro fertilization], GIFT [gamete intrafallopian transfer], ICSI [intracytoplasmic sperm injection], infertility clinics, donor egg and surrogacy services (e.g., surrogate mothers), sperm banks, adoption, infertility books and journals, infertility newsgroups and support organizations, and drugs, such as Metrodin, Pergonal, Clomid." The site also offers a separate list of resources for professional health care givers, links to other sites, a bookstore, etc.

§         Institute for Male Urology - "...located in Encino California, just north of Los Angeles, [this is] a group of urologists with subspecialty training and expertise in the areas of male infertility and chronic prostatitis. We are committed to the care, treatment and study of men with these difficult and personal problems by a staff of academically recognized experts.

§         MEDLINEplus: Health Topics - The National Library of Medicine's MEDLINEplus pages provide a carefully selected list of resources, not a comprehensive catalog. They are designed to direct users to resources containing information that will help them research their health questions. Urology topics at MEDLINEplus include pages on bladder diseases, impotence, kidney failure, dialysis and transplantation, kidney diseases, (general diseases) prostate cancer, prostate diseases, urinary incontinence, and urinary tract infections.

§         Net Wellness Consumer Health Information Kidney Diseases - A site maintained by the University of Cincinnati, The Ohio State University, and Case Western Reserve University. Gives information about the anatomy, physiology and diseases of the kidney. Also gives additional web sites to investigate about the kidneys.

§         Testicular Cancer Center - Aimed at the lay public, this site offers a wealth information about testicular cancer, infertility issues, etc.
